Wedding Photography Portfolio
I am ranked among the Top 30 wedding photojournalists in the world. My work has been recognised by Fearless Photographers, This Is Reportage, the IPPVA and the WPJA for its authenticity and storytelling. My approach is documentary — I work to capture the real moments of your day without awkward posing or staging so your photographs feel as genuine decades from now as they did the moment they were taken.
My background in street photography shapes the way I see and move through a wedding day. I am looking for the unguarded moment, the fleeting expression, the thing that happened between the things you planned.
“You Captured How It Felt, Not Just How It Looked”
Your wedding is filled with moments you can’t and shouldn’t try plan for, be it little glances between you & your partner before the ceremony begins or a quiet exchange with your dad or your pals in tears of laughter during speeches. These are the little moments that tell the entire story of your wedding day. I work quietly so you can focus on living those moments while I preserve them for you.
Venues I Know Well
I photograph at venues across Ireland regularly and knowing a venue well makes a genuine difference to the quality of the work. Here are some of the places I cover most often, each with its own guide to what the photography is actually like there:
Dublin The Merrion Hotel — Georgian light, private gardens, one of the most beautiful staircases in the city The Shelbourne Hotel — St Stephen's Green on the doorstep, grand interiors, classic Dublin
Kildare Carton House — 18th century estate with more portrait locations than almost anywhere in Ireland The K Club — riverside estate, tree-lined driveway, exceptional grounds Cliff at Lyons — converted mill estate, intimate and distinctive Clonabreany House — relaxed country house, beautifully relaxed atmosphere
Wicklow Powerscourt — the Sugar Loaf backdrop, formal gardens, one of Leinster's most photographed venues
Meath Ballymagarvey Village — a converted estate village unlike anywhere else in Ireland Tankardstown House — intimate country house with walled gardens
Further Afield Castle Leslie — lakeside estate in Monaghan, fairytale atmosphere in every season Luttrellstown Castle — 560 acre private estate, exclusive use, one of my favourite places to photograph
If your venue is not listed, get in touch and ask. I have almost certainly photographed there or somewhere very similar. I also travel for destination weddings in Ireland and abroad.
My Packages
I photograph a limited number of weddings each year. Packages start at €1,650 and include full day coverage, an online gallery with high resolution downloads and a print release. Higher packages include a second photographer, luxury album, film photography and the content creator add-on.
