Every wedding I photograph is its own story, full of personality, connection and atmosphere. On this page you’ll find a collection of real weddings from some of Ireland’s most iconic venues, from the luxury of The K Club to city celebrations at Dublin City Hall and romantic countryside settings like Powerscourt. Each gallery shows my relaxed, documentary approach to wedding photography - capturing moments as they happen, with all the beauty and emotion that makes the day unforgettable.
Featured Weddings in Ireland
Slane Castle - Home of The Traitors, collapsing cakes and rock and roll…
If you’ve watched The Traitors Ireland you know Slane Castle is dramatic. But Kaitlyn & Buck’s wedding proved it’s even better as a venue for romance, laughter, and unforgettable photographs.
Tasha & James | Where Luxury met Relaxed | K Club Wedding
A relaxed and luxurious K Club wedding in Ireland. Tasha and James celebrated their September wedding with an outdoor ceremony, confetti cannons, candlelit dinner, and non-stop dancing.
Eimear & Mark’s City Hall and Merrion Hotel Wedding
Eimear and Mark’s Dublin City Hall and Merrion Hotel wedding was full of candid moments, a vintage car ride across the city and a relaxed celebration in House 24.
Sophie & Killian’s Ballintubbert House Wedding
Sophie and Killian’s Ballintubbert House wedding blended garden ceremony beauty with heartfelt speeches and natural portraits. A relaxed day captured in both photos and a content creation video.
Aisling and David’s Winter Wedding at Powerscourt Hotel
Aisling and David’s winter wedding at Powerscourt Hotel was everything this venue does best: elegant, relaxed, and surrounded by the Wicklow mountains. From a timeless Dublin ceremony to candlelit celebrations in the Powerscourt ballroom, their day was full of warmth, connection, and natural storytelling. If you’re considering a Powerscourt Hotel wedding, this gallery shows exactly why it’s one of Ireland’s most sought-after venues.
10 Fearless Awards & Why Documentary Wedding Photography Matters
The Craic & Chaos
Weddings in Ireland are rarely quiet affairs. Some of my favourite Fearless images come from the mad, unplanned bits: a bouquet toss that turned into a rugby lineout, a dance floor move that defied gravity, a wedding cake attacked with a sword. None of these moments were posed or planned, and yet they say more about the joy of a wedding day than any formal shot ever could.
Clonabreany House Wedding | Jenn & Max’s Relaxed Celebration
Jenn and Max’s summer wedding at Clonabreany House in County Meath was the perfect mix of calm, natural, and fun. Both pilots, they brought a steady energy to the day and chose to keep things simple with no formal wedding party, just their closest family and friends. From a relaxed morning at Clonabreany’s cottages, through a heartfelt ceremony with celebrant Catriona Cullen, to an afternoon of laughter in the gardens, their wedding was all about enjoying time together. Clonabreany House is one of my favourite venues to photograph because it combines beautiful grounds with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and Jenn and Max’s day showed exactly why it’s such a special place for couples.
Ruby & Mike’s Ashley Park Wedding; A Real Album Story
This isn’t one of those blog posts that’s all about my favourite photos. Instead, this is a look at what they chose for their album. It’s always interesting to see which moments end up mattering most to a couple. I find that the album tells the real story of the day, better than any Instagram post ever could
Merrion Hotel, Clelia & Neil
Clelia Murphy & Neil Casely’s wedding in the Merrion Hotel and Pepper Canister church in Dublin City centre was one of the funniest and most fun weddings of 2023.
It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. Clelia, known for her role as Niamh in RTE’s long running soap, Fair City, was surrounded by loved ones and familiar faces. Neil, a huge rugby fan, got the surprise of his life when the Irish rugby team drove past on their way to the Aviva Stadium to take on England.
