Why learn with me — Kevin Kheffache Photography Mentoring

Kevin Kheffache teaching photographers during a mentoring session in Dublin

Before I was a full-time photographer, I spent 10 years in education. I owned and ran a language school, taught English, and completed formal teacher training so I know how to teach in a way that makes things click.

In the 15 years since, I have photographed hundreds of weddings and families across Ireland and beyond. I have been named among the Top 50 Wedding Photojournalists in the world, ranked in the Top 3 in Ireland, and served as President of the IPPVA.

I am a founder and organiser of Doc Day, one of Europe’s largest photography conferences, and I will be speaking there again in 2026. Even though the event is now owned by Loxley, Annie and I remain closely involved in shaping its future.

My mentoring combines a deep understanding of how people learn with years of creative and business experience in photography. You bring your goals, and I will help you create a plan that works for your photography, your business, and your life.

Who is this for?

New photographers

You want to fast-track your progress, avoid years of trial and error, and start producing work you are proud of.

Mentoring works best when it is tailored to you. Here are the kinds of photographers and business owners I work with most often.

Working photographers

You want to refine your style, speed up your workflow, and build a business that supports the life you want.It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Business owners in photography

You feel stuck, need clarity, and want a clear plan for growth that is realistic, profitable, and exciting.

Not sure where you fit? Get in touch and we can figure out the best approach for you.

Popular mentoring topics include:

• Camera technique and composition

• Working with natural light and real moments

• Workflow and editing from camera to delivery

• Building packages that sell and increase profit

• Marketing and brand growth that attracts the right clients

• Creating a client experience that brings in referrals

You decide the focus. Every photographer has different goals, so we can go deep into one topic or mix a few together in a single session.
