Laura and Enda’s Clonabreany House Wedding

As a Clonabreany House wedding photographer, I have always loved how this venue mixes a warm country house atmosphere with beautiful landscapes and calm moments that feel real. Laura and Enda’s wedding day was the perfect example of that. Their celebration was relaxed, emotional, full of character, and filled with the kind of quiet in between moments that make Clonabreany feel so personal.

For this blog post I am sharing the story using only the 59 photographs that Laura and Enda chose for their wedding album. These are the images that meant the most to them and the ones that tell the truest version of their day.

Morning preparations in Kells

Laura spent the morning in Tom Blake House in Kells with her bridesmaids Paula and Edel. There was a calm energy in the room as Katie Quinlan worked on hair and Lisa O Brien created a timeless bridal makeup look. Flower girl Emma and page boy Dylan brought the fun and the kind of innocence that always fills a morning with joy.

Meanwhile, Enda got ready at Clonabreany House with his groomsmen Mark and Dave. The lads kept things light and relaxed while the anticipation built quietly in the background.

A beautiful ceremony in the Clonabreany courtyard

Their ceremony took place at 3pm in the courtyard at Clonabreany House, led by the brilliant Billy Hutchinson. The space looked incredible in the soft autumn light. Guests gathered from early, filling the courtyard with warmth and excitement.

The moment Laura arrived was emotional and real. You could see every bit of feeling in both of them as she walked up the aisle. Their vows were honest and simple. They held hands the entire time. These are the moments that make documentary photography so meaningful because nothing is posed or performed. It is all heart.

The confetti celebration after the ceremony was one of the happiest moments of the day. Surrounded by family and friends, they were completely themselves.

Portraits and real moments around Clonabreany

Clonabreany is made for natural photography and we kept the portrait time short and easy. We wandered around the courtyard and the nearby pathways, stopping only when something felt right. The autumn colours were perfect and the late afternoon light gave everything a soft glow. Their bridal party kept the energy relaxed and fun.

Family photographs were taken quickly and efficiently so that Laura and Enda could get back to enjoying their guests. The grounds at Clonabreany always make these photos look elegant without feeling forced.

Reception in the marquee

Shauna and the team at Clonabreany had the marquee looking incredible. A Room in Bloom created stunning florals and the entire room felt warm and inviting. The cake by Bernadette Kenelley was a real highlight, beautifully designed and sitting proudly among the decor.

Dinner began at 6pm and the speeches followed after the meal. There was so much laughter mixed with emotional moments that had everyone leaning in. The Panoramics kicked off the party and the dance floor filled instantly. Laura and Enda never stopped smiling. The night ended the way it should, with friends around them and the two of them dancing like no one was watching.

Their wedding album slideshow

Below is their album selection transformed into a music filled slideshow. It is a simple way to experience the story exactly as they chose to remember it.
