Kate & Colin’s Dublin City Wedding – Trinity College & Howth
Dublin city, the sunshine, Freshers’ Day at Trinity College and a beautiful couple all came together to make Kate and Colin’s wedding unforgettable. From the heart of the city centre to Dollymount Strand and on to Howth Yacht Club, the day was full of energy, laughter and stunning backdrops that show why I love being a Dublin wedding photographer.
A Ceremony at Trinity College Chapel
The fact that it was Freshers’ Day in Trinity added to the lively atmosphere. The campus was buzzing with students, music and excitement, creating a backdrop unlike any other. Amidst the bustle, Kate and Colin’s ceremony at Trinity College Chapel in Dublin was calm, heartfelt and full of joy. Watching them walk through the historic courtyard with such a lively city around them was something special.
Post-Ceremony Celebrations in the City
Afterwards we strolled through the city centre, making the most of the soft afternoon light. Dublin’s streets gave us an elegant yet authentic setting for photos, and the walk to Moss Lane pub was filled with laughter as friends and family gathered for a celebratory pint.
Golden Hour at Dollymount Strand
The real magic happened when we escaped to Dollymount Strand. The low-lying light was perfect for portraits and the Poolbeg Chimneys created a truly Dublin skyline in the background. Just 15 minutes here gave us some of my favourite shots of the day including the veil catching the sea breeze, the light glowing off the water and the couple completely at ease.
A Celebration at Howth Yacht Club
The evening continued at Howth Yacht Club, a perfect location to round out the day. From heartfelt speeches to dinner, dancing and Kate and Colin’s first dance, it all came together seamlessly. There is something timeless about ending a Dublin wedding on the water with the views, the atmosphere and the sense of celebration that carries late into the night.
Congratulations, Kate & Colin
Kate and Colin, it was a joy to be part of your wedding. From Trinity College to Dollymount and Howth, your day captured everything I love about wedding photography in Dublin. Iconic locations, genuine moments and the kind of atmosphere that makes every image timeless. I hope these photos always bring you back to the love and happiness you shared.
Congratulations once again.
