Cloughjordan House Wedding - Halloween tones.
As a Cloughjordan House wedding photographer, I love how every celebration here feels completely personal. Kayla and Joe’s October wedding was no exception. With 90 guests who fleew over from the US (check out my destination wedding guide here if you are planning a destination wedding) a heartfelt ceremony led by Joe’s cousin Richard, and the warm, rustic elegance that Cloughjordan is known for, their day showed why this venue is one of the most sought-after country houses in Ireland.
The morning began in the Distillery Cottage, where Kayla got ready with her bridesmaids. Hair was styled by Annemarie Fitzgerald and Joanne Lane, while makeup by Aideen Cleary kept the look natural and timeless. Meanwhile, Joe and his groomsmen were preparing at Cloughjordan House itself, which made the whole morning flow seamlessly.
The ceremony took place at 3:30 in the heart of Cloughjordan House. With Richard officiating and family at the centre of it all, the vows felt both intimate and joyful. One of the best things about photographing weddings here is how every space, from the courtyard to the lawns and the dining rooms, flows together so naturally.
Family photos were a priority for Kayla and Joe, and Cloughjordan’s grounds gave us endless backdrops. From the tree-lined avenues to the relaxed walled gardens, the portraits balanced elegance with the couple’s easy-going personalities.
The reception was coordinated by Jessica and featured speeches during the drinks reception, keeping the evening light and full of laughter. As the sun set, guests moved inside for a cosy dinner at 6pm, with music later from Pop Gods and film coverage by Edit House.
Cloughjordan House is a venue that blends history, character, and warmth. For couples looking for a relaxed yet elegant setting in the Irish countryside, it is a dream location.
